Treescapes Boost for Diversity

Six residents of Hanley Castle parish received advice and grant aid to boost biodiversity, restoring almost 400m of hedgerow, planting 2 small orchards and creating a small woodland.

Charlotte Vincent of Severn Treescapes co-ordinated the plan, funded by the Trees Call to Action Fund (TCAF). A total grant of £3895 was offered from Severn Trent’s Boost for Biodiversity Grant.

Community volunteering days will be advertised for planting.
