Mahonia winter sun at Hanley Swan Village Hall
To encourage wildlife in the parking area at Hanley Swan Village Hall, with help from Carol Nicholls from Grange Farm Nursery, Hanleys Environment Group has planted shrubs, chosen to attract and benefit insects.

Applications are now being sought for a person who wishes to stand for co-option onto the Hanley Castle Parish Council. Hanley Castle Parish Council meet 10 times a year and represent the villages of Hanley Swan and Hanley Castle.

This service will be rolled out gradually across the Malvern Hills district with the first trial round starting in October 2026. If the trial is successful, we expect full coverage across the district by October 2027.

Footpath Problem Reporting
Peter Goodyear, the current footpath warden, and Steve Pennant have set up a WhatsApp group to report and address problems on the Hanleys' footpaths.
